At Wedge Mountain Lodge, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and luxury amenities to make your day seamless. Our fully staffed 12,000 square foot lodge is located in Whistler, BC – and less than 2 hours from Vancouver International Airport.
Inquire with us for a quote to host a Special Event at Wedge Mountain Lodge & Spa. There is a per person fee to host additional guests for a welcome night, wedding evening, or day after brunch.
Amenities
Wedge Mountain Lodge includes variety of amenities. Enjoy the convenience of our elevator for easy transport of supplies to the main level, and take advantage of our temperature-controlled wine cellar.
Our lodge features seating for up to 50 guests, on-site staff, a bar in our impressive great room with 30-foot ceilings, ample parking, a shuttle service, and more.
Spaces
Our venue has 4 stunning locations to choose from for your wedding ceremony and reception: The Great Room, with over 3,000 square feet of space; The Spa Room, featuring a living plant wall; The Pool Deck, with views of Rainbow Mountain; and The Hill, a lush grassy area with a natural stone backdrop.
Wedge Mountain Lodge provides a versatile space. With the flexibility to transform the interior and grounds to suit your style.
Service
When you book your wedding with us, two hosts and one chauffeur are included in your stay. If you need additional staff, please speak to our concierge to arrange for any extra services you require.
Chef
Wedge Mountain Lodge has an Executive Chef, Bill Grimshaw, on hand for all our overnight guests dining needs. Focusing on organic, local and seasonal ingredients, his menus really showcase the flavours of our region.
For your wedding event, Chef Bill can accommodate up to 30 guests. We ask that our wedding guests coordinate external catering for events with over 30 guests in attendance to serve you best.
Bedrooms
Our luxurious property accommodates 10 adults or 10 couples. When you book your stay, you have the whole lodge, exclusively for your group. Each of our 10 king-sized bedrooms have stylish en-suite bathrooms with luxury amenities. Beautifully appointed with RH furniture, soft linens & robes, individual heat and A/C control, TV and high-speed internet, you’ll feel at home at Wedge Mountain Lodge.
Additional Lodging
We can provide a list of luxury overflow accommodation nearby for your wedding guests, or coordinate shuttle services to the village to pick-up and drop-off your guests safely from their hotels.
Rates
To reserve the Lodge, a 3 night minimum venue spend must be met. We have a special event fee for any event involving more than 20 adults; the numbers below are our rate to set up and host an additional number of people for a seated dinner (matching chairs, flatware, plates, etc):

Wedding FAQ
Any Lodge rental is a 3-night minimum, our typical stays are based upon a maximum of 20 adults. Any event at the Lodge for more than 20 adults requires a Special Event Fee so we can increase our base services to accommodate more guests.
For a sit-down event we can host up to 80 guests. Please inquire with us if you are planning a standing-style reception or conference style function as we may be able to increase capacity to accommodate you.
Yes, our Lodge chef can prepare meals for you and your guest during your stay in the Lodge; but dining events for over 30 guests may require contracting an outside caterer to best serve your guests. We have a list of preferred caterers that we work with on a regular basis, however if you have an alternative caterer that you prefer please inquire with us so we may invite them for a site inspection prior to your big day.
Yes, we have a list of wonderful local vendors we are happy to share with you. Florists, officiants, decor providers, event planners, and more!
Our neighbourhood has several private homes available for larger groups, and we can also recommend hotels in the village. Please inquire for more details.
We ask that you confirm your meals, guest count, and additional services 1 month prior to your check-in.
Our Special Event Fee allows us to increase our Lodge capacity to suit the needs of your group. When you secure the Special Event Fee it includes: tables, chairs, linens, plateware, flatware, glassware, Lodge decor inventory, bartending service, servers, bussers, housekeepers, chauffeur service, and non-alcoholic beverage components including bar mix and bar garnish. All Special Events at the Lodge require an Event Planner or Wedding Planner Service be booked by the client to ensure a well-planned event. Children under 1 year of age are not counted in the guest quantity for the Special Event Fee, any guest over 1 year of age is required to be included in your total guest count.
We provide a complimentary sommelier service for all Lodge stays. While you are staying at the Lodge all of the items in the wine cellar are available to you to enjoy at your leisure. For your Special Event, we encourage you to use the sommelier service in advance to place an order of your preferred wine, beer and liquor. Our service includes cocktail design and assisting you with bar planning and a quantity calculator.
