After being served a satisfying breakfast, the Whistler Heli Skiing team will come to meet you at the lodge. From here, you’ll be driven just a few minutes down the road to find your private heli for a spectacular ride to untouched backcountry snow!
A Day with Whistler Heli & Wedge
Breakfast
Prepare for your day of heli-skiing with a hearty breakfast at the Lodge made by Chef Bill. Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared options including fruit and yogurt, house-baked breads with local jams, assorted pastries, eggs, avocado, cheese, cereals, and more. Additionally, indulge in a variety of hot breakfast items such as omlettes and cooked breakfast specialties to fuel your adventure-filled day ahead. Complete your meal with coffee, tea, and a selection of juices.
Gearing Up & Safety Talk
After breakfast, meet your heli ski guide directly at the lodge—no need to travel into Whistler, we’ve streamlined it all for you. You’ll receive an avalanche transceiver and comprehensive safety briefing, ensuring you’re fully prepared for an exhilarating day in the backcountry.
Private Driver to Heliport
Once you’re geared up, your private driver will load your skis into our van. Anticipation builds as you’re chauffeured from the lodge a mere two minutes down the road to the helipad. The next part of your journey is pure exhilaration: soaring through the sky, you’ll witness stunning mountain landscapes and some of the world’s most spectacular views.
Heliskiing
Now it’s time for carving turns down the spectacular coastal mountains with just you and your friends. Whistler Heli Skiing’s ski tenure is 50 times the size of Whistler Blackcomb, covers 432,000 acres and holds more than 173 glaciers! They do high alpine heli skiing and riding better than anybody. You will be skiing in a Bell 212 with your family and friends only. Four runs are included daily with the option to add more.
Backcountry Lunch
After working up an appetite, indulge in a backcountry lunch with a view! We offer customizable options such as fondue, gourmet sandwiches, hot chocolate, and snacks tailored to your preferences.

After lunch, there’s potential for a few more powder-filled runs, depending on your group’s preferences.
Après at The Lodge
Share stories of your adventures around our cozy wood fire after a full day of heli skiing! You’ll be chauffeured back to the lodge, where our hosts are ready to serve you drinks and appetizers.
